Can You See Yourself As A Crown Diamond?

That is a great quote from Zig isn’t it? How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a success in your network marketing business? Can you see yourself as a Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and then Crown Diamond? Do you actually believe that you can achieve those ranks?


If you will be successful in anything, you must see it and believe it. That belief needs to be with every fiber of your being. If you see yourself as a failure or have any doubt as to your ability to achieve the goal, you won’t be able to get there. It’s just that simple.


Getting your mindset in the right direction is absolutely vital to your success, especially in network marketing.


If you are serious about earning a full time income in network marketing, you will want to become familiar with the compensation plan and leadership ranks. Once you reach the leadership levels, the compensation plan pays more. The higher you are in the leadership levels, the higher your compensation will be. The top of the pay plan is usually Diamond or Crown Diamond rank.


Have you thought about reaching the rank of Diamond in your business? I have found that many distributors don’t really see themselves reaching that high in the company. Some can’t even see themselves reaching the first leadership rank, Silver in our company, Young Living Essential Oils.


Can you see yourself as a Crown Diamond or even Silver?


If you are serious about earning a good income in this business, you must get serious about reaching the leadership ranks in your company plan. Start seeing yourself as a Crown Diamond. If you can’t see it and believe it, it will never happen.


Seeing yourself as Crown Diamond will help you as you are climbing up the earlier leadership ranks. Constantly be picturing yourself in the role of a successful high earning successful leader. See it! Feel it!


Now, thinking about that quote by Zig Ziglar, “You cannot perform in a manner inconsistent with the way you see yourself.” If you see yourself as a successful leader in your company, you will act accordingly. Success in just a matter of time if you see it, believe it and act in a way that will get you there. If you have doubts, you won’t.


There are ways to increase belief and power in seeing yourself at the top ranks in your company. Here are a few things that will contribute to that vision:

See and feel what it feels like to achieve success in network marketing company. Spend a little time each day visualizing and getting comfortable with various aspects of your business. When you visualize, see yourself going on stage receiving an award for each rank.

I am so excited to be leading a team of wonderful people.
I can believe I will get to Crown Diamond.
I radiate the confidence of a successful Crown Diamond.
I choose to be full of passion as I grow through the ranks to Crown Diamond.
I love the confidence I am feeling.
I believe I will get to Crown Diamond.
I can see myself on stage receiving the Crown Diamond award.
I can feel the sense of satisfaction and pride that I have achieved Crown Diamond.

A Quick EFT Tip I learned From Nick Ortner

I was reading a newsletter from The Tapping Solution and I thought you would benefit from the information. The article was written by Nick Ortner on releasing the negative emotions that come from incidents that happened in our childhood or even the not so distant past.


Nick tells about an incident from his past and about how to use the Movie Technique. I often use this technique when doing visualization but this is a great way to release negative feelings about things that happened in the past.


Nick’s article got me thinking about embarrassing situations that happened in the past that could contribute to feeling uncomfortable in the spotlight of leadership. Do you remember any times when you were doing a book report or some other presentation in front of the class and you messed up? I remember one time during a junior high public speaking class we were doing impromptu exercises where we had to speak without notes on a subject. When it was my turn to speak, my mind went blank. I couldn’t remember anything about what I was supposed to talk about so I just started talking about something unrelated. It was sheer babbling to fill time.


I remember another incident where one of my friends tripped on microphone cords and fell off the stage. Several people laughed. Somehow that affected me, even though it happened to my friend. Ever since then, whenever I have to go on stage I am worrying about tripping or falling in some way. I also worry for my friends when they are going on stage.


I appreciate Nick Ortner’s post. I will reflect on my past and do this EFT technique to clear the negative emotions around those incidents.


Think about things that happened to you or things you witnessed in your past. Are there any of those things causing you uncomfortable feelings now?

    Here’s an easy three step process to clearing an event from the past.
    1. Pick the event.
    Try to be as specific with it as possible and only start with one for now. You can do more later, but now, focus on ONE experience where someone said something to you, where you said something, where you learned that it wasn’t safe to stand out and be YOU.


    2. Rate the intensity of what happened.
    When you think about the event, feel what you felt then or even what you feel now about it, and rate the intensity on a 0-10 scale.


    3. Start visualizing the event as a movie.
    With your eyes closed, tap through all the points, as you see the movie play. Keep tapping through the points, moving whenever you want, and running the movie again and again, in as much detail as possible, See it, feel it, smell it, hear it, make it real and keep tapping. Notice what stands out to you most about the movie, and focus on that issue. Notice where you feel a ‘charge’ and focus on that, and just keep tapping, tapping, tapping.


    Tap until you can see the movie, without feeling an emotional charge.


    What have you done? You’ve healed that event, cleared the emotional charge, processed the stuck energy through your body, reminded your body it’s safe!


    Rinse and repeat for any events that you can think of! (I made this joke before, “rinse and repeat” referring to what the shampoo bottle says. Someone took it very literally and emailed asking if they should shower in between each tapping session! It’s actually not a bad idea, water is very cleansing, but you don’t have to do it between each tapping round. 🙂 )

Three mistakes That Can Shipwreck Your Network Marketing Business


1. Not Taking Personal Development and Self-esteem Building Seriously: If you don’t have a love for yourself and a strong self-esteem, you will NOT care enough to do what it takes to build a business that actually earns income. You will not care enough about your dreams to make things happen. This may sound a little funny to some but it’s really important.


Jim Rohn said, “If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”


Without personal development, you won’t build confidence and self-esteem in yourself and your business. Your prospects will pick up on that.


If you have a love for yourself you will invest in your life plan. Network marketing is an industry that has a high failure rate. That’s not because the business model is bad, it’s because people jump in with dreams of making a lot of money but they don’t realize they need to invest in their success. Investing not only time but money. Yes, I said money! Invest in training books, audios and courses. Things that help you grow your skills, and yes, that includes building self-esteem. As you get more training and skills, your self-esteem and confidence grows.


2. Focusing on the Wrong Things: Fear of failure is one of the big obstacles distributors struggle with. We all deal with it to some degree but we must focus on the right things if we want to get where we want to go. Don’t focus on every temporary setback and bump in the road. Focus on what you want to achieve, the road ahead of you, keeping the goal or your WHY in mind.


Think of it like driving a car and going on vacation at the ocean. When you drive your car anywhere you are looking at the road ahead but you are looking in the distance, not at every bump or pothole in the road. If you spend too much time looking at the bumps and holes on the surface of the road, you can end up missing something really big. You can even end up in a ditch. While you will notice holes and bumps, you aren’t looking at them with full attention. You just notice enough to make corrections in your course, all the while keeping your attention on the goal ahead of you: Your arrival at the ocean and enjoying a wonderful vacation.


Your business is similar. Focus on what you want to achieve in your business and your WHY! Don’t let the bumps along the way derail you.


3. Letting Negative People In Your Life Derail Your Success: This one sort of goes along with the previous one. These negative people can be a bump in the road. Are you going to let them derail your success? This is why it is SUPER IMPORTANT to attend as many network marketing and company events as possible. Some events require us leaving the house but many are available to us through conference calls and webinars. These events keep us going and act like an antidote to the poison of negative people. Negative people can poison our dreams and make us give up.


I’m just like you. I have had to deal with negative people. In the beginning it was a real challenge. My own husband was negative. He didn’t believe we could build a business. Back then I was “spending too much time on the computer.” Today he’s delighted I worked hard on the business. He works with me from home.


I remember one relative telling us to “Quit selling herbs and get a real job.”


We all have negative people in our life. These people love us and they think they are helping but they unknowingly poison our dreams if we let them. We can’t let them do that. Our diligent attention to personal development can help us remain strong and focused on our goals. Hanging around successful people will help offset the negative energy and help keep our vision in view.


Network marketing is an awesome business. Keep moving forward and never give up.
